The Moorfields International Glaucoma Symposium (MIGS) is an annual conference focused on aspects of Glaucoma Research and Innovation, Clinical Trends and Challenges as well as Service Delivery. In 2018 we celebrated our 10th anniversary meeting since our inaugural MIGS in 2008.
The programme is developed each year by a group of glaucoma specialists from Moorfields Eye Hospital and executed by an array of internationally distinguished speakers, with the aim of achieving an entertaining, if not sometimes irreverend agenda, as free of commercial bias as possible, discussing topical and current issues facing clinicians.
The meeting is hosted by Vision Medical Events Ltd in the Royal College of Physicians in London during the last weekend in January. Our 2019 MIGS will be held on 26th and 27th January 2019 and attracts 11 CPD points from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
The organisers are grateful to Laboratoires Théa who in in 2019 will have sponsored their fifth consecutive MIGS.
The 10th MIGS was held at the Royal College of Physicians in London and was awarded 11 CPD points by the RCOphth. The 2019 symposia is set to welcome delegates from around the world with an increasingly popular programme.
